Start with the way you live
The best furniture is not simply the piece that looks most impressive in a photograph. It should suit the size, purpose and atmosphere of the room in which it will be used. Before choosing a chair, think about who will use it, how often, and the experience you want the space to provide.
1. Choose the right type of chair
Lounge chairs and ottomans
A lounge chair can create a comfortable reading corner or become the focal point of a living room. Consider the overall footprint of both the chair and ottoman, and make sure there is enough space for people to move around them. Explore lounge chairs.
Dining chairs
Look at seat height relative to your table, chair width, armrests and the space behind each chair. Check whether a dining armchair can slide beneath the table apron before ordering. Browse dining chairs.
Office seating
Consider desk height, intended sitting duration, room proportions and any adjustment features listed on the product page. An executive chair may suit a larger desk, while a streamlined silhouette may fit a compact workspace. Discover office chairs.
Accent chairs
An accent chair adds texture and shape without requiring an entire furniture set. Compare frame, upholstery and the surrounding furnishings so the piece feels deliberate. Shop accent chairs.
2. Measure twice, order once
Measure the maximum floor area available, as well as the doorways, corridors and staircases the furniture must pass through. Leave enough clearance for drawers, doors and walkways. Compare those measurements with each listing's exact width, depth and height; dimensions are not interchangeable between variants.
3. Compare available materials and finishes
A wood-look shell, metal base, leather upholstery or alternative fabric can change both appearance and maintenance needs. Use the finish and colour options shown on the product page. Photographs may appear different across screens and lighting conditions, so ask for clarification if a particular tone is essential.
4. Check what is included
Read the product title, images, description and selected variant carefully. Some listings include an ottoman or set; others describe a single chair. Do not infer that accessories shown in a lifestyle photograph are included unless the product listing says so.
5. Review delivery, assembly and aftercare
Delivery logistics can matter for large furniture. Before checkout, confirm the destination is supported and read the available shipping and returns terms. Keep the manufacturer's assembly and care guidance available after delivery.
